Generally, unless noted otherwise, materials produced at each of our sites were placed there by Force Klos American Archives or their sub-contractors. The content was edited and taken directly from:

Although many of the materials were found  in the public domain or were purely factual. they may not be reproduced without permission.  Some materials, especially certain historical documents, sketches, and images have been donated or obtained from individuals or organizations and may be subject to restrictions on use.

Force Klos American Archives hereby grants you the permission for personal or classroom use to make digital or hard copies of part or all the American Archives Content found at its sites, so long as copies are not made or distributed for profit or direct commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and our full copyright notation. The failure to have a copyright mark next to the material does not extinguish any protection granted to the item.

You may consult us at e-mail us for details on specific items. We are aware of donor restrictions applicable to our collections, but we can not confirm copyright status for any item. We recommend that you contact the United States Copyright Office at The Library of Congress to search currently copyrighted materials.

Please note that because we cannot guarantee the status of specific items, you use materials found at our sites at your own risk.

Images on our web site which are in the public domain may be used without permission but the overwhelming image majority is our copyrighted material. If you wish to utilize images from our web site, there is a one-time fee of $50.00 per print or digital publication with no copy limit. In addition to the $50.00 fee we require a copy of the publication to be sent to us upon its publication. Finally all images must be cited: Image Courtesy of www.stanklos.net.  Please note that some images on our site have been obtained from other organizations and are cited accordingly. Permission to use these images should be obtained directly from those organizations.

Links may be made to our web site from other personal and organizational web pages. We request that you link to our site rather than downloading portions of it to another web server, so that our viewers will see our most up-to-date information.
